Site Analysis

Each site offers unique natural and manmade features; where the sun rises and sets is often important to the project.  Views to the Bay may need to be opened up or the view of a neighbor’s house blocked.  All of these are important to the design process and part of the site analysis.

Site Design

The design of a site, whether residential or commercial, involves more than getting the car in and the stormwater out.  Lines of site, views of the building, geometric relationships between the building and the site all contribute to a better site design.

Construction Detailing

The Architect Mies van der Rohe said, “God is in the details.”  Nowhere is that more evident than in site detailing.  The features of the site, as much as the Architecture, contribute to the overall “sense of place” that makes a project unique and one that people want to be in.  We provide complete construction detailing that is easy for the contractor to bid and construct.

Landscape design

Landscape design is our most popular service.  We can offer designs ranging from purely native to tropical to Southern traditional, with Magnolias and Azaleas.  We are blessed with a climate that allows us to use a broad range of plants, including many attractive and unique natives.

Irrigation design

The irrigation system is an often overlooked component for the success of a project.  A well designed irrigation system uses less water to keep plants alive and reduces maintenance costs.  We do all of our own irrigation designing.

Hardscape Design

Hardscape frames the landscape.  Driveways, walkways, arbors and other structures are an integral part of the landscape and an integral part of our services.

Cost Estimating

A well designed project is little good to a client if it costs more than they have budgeted.  We work hard to provide complete and accurate cost estimates at all levels of design.
